  • In order to develop TKD through fostering the International TKD Masters
  • In order to contribute to the development of TKD technology and skills by selecting examiners through strict evaluation under the rules of Poom/Dan Promotion and practical training for the TKD masters
  • Promoting Kukkiwon TKD Masters, developing Taekwondo technology, and disseminating Poomsae widely
  • Inspiring a sense of duty as a TKD examiner and improving his/her scoring skills

- Those who pass the online test after completing the online course

  • Kukkiwon 9th Dan and Master Certificate (Issue Date prior 1996)

  • Kukkiwon 6th - 7 Dan with 3rd Class Master certificate
3rd
  • Kukkiwon 4th - 5th Dan (at least 20 years old)
Diploma Course -
  • Kukkiwon 2nd - 3rd Dan (at least 18 years old) - The license can be issued after promotion to 4th Dan and if course is completed successfully & an application is submitted
Refresher Course 1 - 3
  • Holder of 1st - 3rd Class Master Certificate who wants to review and learn the course again
 - $300
Re-Test 1 - 3
  • Disqualified participant who has completed the regular course.
 - $50

* Participant in the refresher course is issued only a certificate of completion

* Conditions of reduction fees in the Poom / Dan Examiner course: An Applicant who meets conditions 1  & 2 below can receive a $200 credit refund to your original payment method.

Condition # 1) An applicant who is a KMS member and has applied for 10 or more per year to Kukkiwon for the past 3 years (2019-2021)

Condition # 2) Applicant who has applied for 1st Class or 2nd Class course at the International Master Course

Registration Documents

  1. Application Form, Copy of Identification (Driver License or Passport)
  2. Copy of Kukkiwon Dan Certificate, Copy of 2nd or 3rd Class Master Certificate (1st or 2nd Class Master Course Candidates)
  3. Copy of 2nd or 3rd Class Examiner Certificate (lst or 2nd Class Examiner Course Candidates)
  4. Color photo (3 x 4 cm) or JPG filed photo
  5. KMS registration number must be written (applicable person)

How to obtain your WTA web ID
1) Go to Kukkiwon Online Program website
2) Click "sign up" link located on the top right
3) Sign up and agree to the terms and conditions
4) Click "save"
5) Click "Retrieve current Poom, Dan and certification information"
6) Click date of birth, country, and Dan certificate number

  1. Log in after registering as a member of the website (available 24 hours a day)
  2. Apply for the online course and payment ($100)
  3. Take online course (9 subjects 18 hours)
  4. After taking the course (100%), apply for the online test and take the online test
